Accounts Senior/Semi Senior
Location – Redditch
Hours – Permanent, Full or Part Time (Hours to suit)
Salary – Negotiable, depending on experience
Description – We currently have a vacancy for an Accounts Senior/Semi Senior to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • To undertake accounts preparation from client records to be submitted to the relevant partner for review.
  • To undertake business support work including preparation of management accounts, Book-keeping reviews, VAT Returns and assisting clients in any other matters.
  • Resolving client accounting issues and reconciling accounts.
  • Maintaining client relationships to identify any further client service opportunities.
  • Supervision of junior accounting staff.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Qualified ACA / ACCA or equivalent qualification, studying towards or qualified by experience.
  • Strong IT skills and strong knowledge of accountancy software such as Iris and Sage.
  • At least 2-3 years practice experience working in a general practice environment.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure and work as an effective team member.
  • Conscientious and excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise to meet strict timescales.
  • Audit experience beneficial but not essential.

Audit Senior
Location – Redditch
Hours – Permanent, Full or Part Time

Description – We currently have a vacancy for an Audit Senior to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • To undertake audits of accounts at client premises.
  • Preparation of management accounts from both audit & non-audit clients.
  • Assisting the relevant company director in the planning and review of audit assignments.
  • Monitor and manage the progress of the audit assignment.
  • Supervising the audit process on site whilst supporting and developing junior members of staff.
  • Ad-hoc arrangements, covering any of the above areas or general accounting, due diligence, investigation and taxation matters.

Qualifications and Skills

  • ACA / ACCA Qualified.
  • Strong previous audit experience in a public practice environments.
  • Ability to prepare full statutory accounts.
  • Experience with accounting and audit software.
  • Exemplary knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Conscientious and excellent attention to detail.
  • Must hold a full UK Driving Licence.
